Southend United boss Steve Tilson wants his side to right a few wrongs against Brentford this evening.

After a disappointing performance on Saturday against Oldham Athletic the Blues chief is looking for a reaction from his side.

And he is glad that his team have a quick opportunity to do that.

"Tonight is chance for us to bounce back quickly following Saturday's performance," said Steve.

"We weren't at the races then and it was the worst I have seen us play this season so I am looking for a reaction.

"Brentford came up last season and have acclimatised well to the division.

"They have some good players and if we perform like we did Saturday then we will get beaten.

"But we want to put that result behind us now, and there is no better way than by hopefully getting three points."
