Steve Tilson was pleased to continue Southend United's unbeaten form at home against Leeds United, but felt they should have taken all three points.
The Blues chief praised another excellent performance in the goalless draw and knows tests don't come much tougher at this level, but felt they had the chances to secure the win on the night.
"It was a very good performance from us tonight," Steve told Blues Player.
"We had the better chances on the night and should have won the game.
"It is a good result though against one of the top two sides in this league and keeps our unbeaten run at home going.
"Leeds have a lot of quality up top, but we defended well and didn't offer them too many chances.
"It is always pleasing to keep a clean sheet and when we do that, I always fancy us at the other end.
"It was a fantastic save from their goalkeeper to deny Barney from the spot and he also made some good saves in the first half.
"Overall, it was a good point and a good performance in front of another fantastic atmosphere at Roots Hall.
"Every game is different and we now go to Brighton next weekend hoping to get a result."
