Southend United have named their starting XI for the final pre-season friendly at Stevenage Borough.

Former Sheffield Wednesday left back Peter Gilbert is on trial tonight, while new signings Matt Heath and John White also start in defence.

Francis Laurent continues in his new role down the right wing and Alex Revell will partner James Walker in attack against the Blue Square Premier outfit.
