Boss Steve Tilson wants his side to start converting more of their chances following this afternoon's 1-0 win at Chelmsford City.
A solitary strike from Dougie Freedman proved to be the difference between the two teams.
But Tilson felt the Blues should have secured a more convincing victory at Melbourne Park.
'We created quite a few chances and to be honest we should have taken a few more of them," said Tilson.
"That's something we need to work on because when the season starts for real we can't afford to be missing that many opportunities."
Freedman, Craig Calver, Franck Moussa, Stuart O'Keefe and Alex Revell all failed to finish when presented with good chances in front of goal.
However, Tilson was not too disheartened.
"We always say results don't matter at this stage but it was nice to come and get another win," he said
"It wasn't the best of pitches and the game died a bit of a death in the second half but we got a clean sheet which was nice and we did OK."
Tilson again played Spanish centre-back Martin Camano for 90 minutes, while another trialist - French left-back Zoumana Bakayogo also played the full game.
