Southend United have added a trip to Blue Square Premier outfit Stevenage Borough to their pre-season warm-up schedule.

Blues will visit Broadhall Way on Friday, July 31 (7.45pm) to face the non-league outfit.

Stevenage missed out on promotion to League Two this season losing in the Conference semi-final play-offs against Torquay United

And the latest addition to Steve Tilson's preparations for the new season takes the total number of matches to nine.
