Southend United are pleased to announce that Rochford based Toomey Southend Automotive Retail Park are sponsoring a fantastic high profile youth tournament to be held at Roots Hall in July.
The Toomey Trophy will feature Southend United's under 18's side taking on the youth teams of Premier League teams Arsenal, Everton and Fulham.
Arsenal's youth team are considered the best in the country having recently secured the FA Youth Cup beating Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate whilst also winning their academy league.
Southend United's under 18's were league champions in the Puma Youth Alliance, winning the division for the first time in the Club's history.
The Toomey Trophy will take place over the weekend of 25th and 26th July.
Head of Youth at Southend United Ricky Duncan was delighted to welcome Toomey on board.
"We were really pleased to secure a number of high profile clubs to take part in this tournament and now to have a prestigious local sponsor like Toomey onboard is fantastic news and is testament to the progress the Club is making on and off the field," he said.
"It is an opportunity for fans of all four sides involved to see their clubs future players and we are hoping to see a good attendance over the course of the weekend to see some excellent football."

Tickets for the Toomey Trophy are now on sale from the Blues Box Office. Both one day and two day passes are available priced at £10 and £15 respectively for adults, £5 and £8 for concessions and £1 per day for children. All of the proceeds raised from the Toomey Trophy will help to fund the development of Southend United Youth Department.
The draw for the first days matches on Saturday, July 25 has taken place and Fulham will face Everton (11.30am) whilst Southend United will take on Arsenal (3pm).
This years Meet the Blues Day will also be incorporated into the Toomey Trophy finals day on Sunday, July 26. Full details will be announced shortly.
