Junior Stanislas will make his debut for Southend United in today's FA Cup second round tie at home to Luton Town.
The left winger joined on loan from West Ham in midweek and has been given permission to play at Roots Hall.
Francis Laurent and Alex Revell return from suspension and illness respectively to lead the frontline.
Johnny Herd comes into the team at left back in place of Dan Harding, who has been denied permission to feature.
15-year-old Femi Orenuga has also been named on the bench and if he makes an appearance, he will become the youngest player in Southend history to play for the club.
