Southend United have this afternoon signed Fulham midfielder Robert Milsom on loan until the end of December.

Blues have moved today to sign the left-winger ahead of Saturday's match with Oldham Athletic.

The product of the Premier League clubs Academy is highly rated at Craven Cottage and moves to Roots Hall until December 29.

Milsom, 21, has made one appearance for the Cottagers this season during Fulham's 1-0 Carling Cup defeat against Burnley.

Last year the Redhill born youngster spent a month on loan at League Two side Brentford where he made six appearances.

Robert has been handed squad number 33 and will be available for Saturday's match with Oldham Athletic.
