Southend striker Matt Harrold has this evening completed a move to Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.

The former Yeovil Town forward was signed by former United boss Peter Taylor for an undisclosed five figure fee today.

Harrold, 24, was placed on the transfer list by the Blues over the summer after falling out of favour at Roots Hall.

Signed an hour before the transfer window closed by Southend in August 2006; Harrold's spell in Essex was far from successful.

It was the second time he found himself back at the Blues having been on the Club's books as a youngster before being released.

However, he failed to impress and win over the crowd as he went on to make 59 appearances scoring 6 goals before signing a two-year contract at Adams Park today.
