Southend United Football Club and CD Jávea are pleased to announce a partnership between the two clubs.
The two teams have signed a co-operation agreement to provide access to both set-ups talented youngsters.
The agreement will also extend to the use of training facilities in Spain as well as prestigious friendlies with Spanish opposition.
Blues Chief Executive Geoffrey King was excited about the prospect of the linking up with Jávea.
"We have been working on this since Christmas last year," Mr King told southendunited.co.uk.
"Ray Osbourne, one of the clubs directors, made an introduction through CD Jávea's English President Mark Catlin.
"Ricky Duncan and Paul Brush have both been out there to see the set-up in recent weeks and were impressed by what the two clubs' can offer each other.
"Mr Catlin has some excellent contacts with top Spanish sides which will hopefully lead to the opportunity to sign players and arrange friendlies.
"In return we will loan youth players to Jávea to aid their development."

Recent weeks have seen two Southend players already make the short trip to the Costa Blanca.
Former Southend youth team captain Tom Hopkins has signed permanently for Jávea, whilst Dan Harvey has been loaned to ex-Blues defender Kenny Brown's squad on a one-year development contract.
CD Jávea President Mark Catlin meanwhile is excited about the benefits of linking up with Southend United can bring to the two clubs'.
"Kenny Brown and I are 100-per-cent committed to assisting Southend United in any way possible," he said.
"The style of play here in Spain will help the players develop. Southend will continue to monitor the progress of players loaned to us and it will also put all players at CD Jávea, both Spanish and English, under the noses of the management team at Roots Hall.
"We have close links with Villarreal and we hope to be able to recommend players and arrange friendlies with them and other Spanish sides also."
CD Jávea play in the Regional Preferente Grupo III, whilst Southend United kick-off their new Coca-Cola League One season on Saturday.
