Southend fans can get a sneak preview at United's new away kit for the 2008/09 season today.

The full strip is set to be unveiled on Sunday at Meet the Blues Day but southendunited.co.uk has obtained a small peak at the new shirt, which is red.

Revealed in full this weekend, the actually kit will go on sale to supporters on Friday, August 8 at the Blues Club Shop.

Fans can pre-order the kit from Sunday at Meet the Blues Day, with pre-orders also available online from Monday.

Sponsored by Insure and Go, like the home kit, the away strip also carries the insureandgo.com web address on the rear.

Prices for the shirt are the same as the home kit.

Fans have already been snapping up the new home shirt in their hundreds which was revealed earlier this month.
