Southend United Football Club is pleased to announce the biggest sponsorship deal in the club's history today.

Current main sponsors InsureandGo have signed a significant two-year contract to remain as principal backers of the Blues for the next two seasons.

All first team and replica kit will continue to carry the InsureandGo logo on the front of the shirts for the next two years.

In addition to the front of shirt sponsorship, InsureandGo, who's head office is based in Southend, have become shirt back sponsors for the next two seasons also.

Taking over from previous shirt back sponsor Haart, United's home and away shirts will carry InsureandGo's web address - insureandgo.com - on the rear.

Southend United Chief Executive Geoffrey King said: "We are delighted that InsureandGo has agreed to remain on board for the next two seasons.

"We have enjoyed an excellent relationship over the past 24-months and we were keen to see that continue to grow.

"InsureandGo are a market leader in travel insurance and hopefully through this partnership with Southend United we can both continue to go from strength to strength."

InsureandGo Managing Director, and long time Blues supporter, Gary Lockett was pleased to pledge his support behind the Club.

"We said two-years ago when we signed the first deal that we were committed to Southend United for the long term.

"Steve Tilson and the team were very unfortunate not to gain promotion last season, hopefully with InsureandGo's continued backing he can make that happen this time around."

Should Southend go on to gain promotion to the Championship during the course of the contract then the agreement would increase in value.
