Arsenal loanee Kerrea Gilbert has returned to the Gunners this week after his loan spell expired.

Gilbert, 20, has returned to the Emirates Stadium having spent five months at Roots Hall.

The youngster made six appearances during his spell in Essex but fell out of favour following a number of in different performances.

The right-back, who started the season as first choice, has 18 months left to run on his contract with Arsene Wenger's side.
