Over 250 new supporters have already showed faith in Southend United for next season despite relegation in May.

United's Ticket Office has been inundated with new requests for Season Cards from supporters who are signing up for the first time.

Meanwhile, thousands of Blues supporters have renewed their Cards for the forthcoming campaign, taking advantage of the first Early Bird discount being offered.

Fans have a further ten days to take advantage of the first special rate period before sales enter the second stage of discount.

Director of Commercial Services Garry Adamson told southendunited.co.uk: "I've only been working at Roots Hall for a few weeks now but I'm already impressed with the loyalty our fans have shown.

"Sales of Season Cards are on a par at the moment with last season, and that was following a promotion, so it is very encouraging.

"With the first tier of Early Bird rate finishing at the end of the month I'd expect a healthy number of supporters to have taken advantage of the fantastic rate."

Blues fans are also reminded that they can pay by Credit Card for their Season Card this season.
