Southend supporters are being asked to name the retail element of the Blues new super stadium.

United received the go ahead from the Government earlier this month to build a new venue at Fossetts Farm.

And now fans of the Club are being encouraged to email their suggestions into us as to what they would like the shopping walkway of United's new 22,000 all-seater stadium to be called.

Whilst the ground will more than likely be named after a corporate sponsor, we want our fans to come up with a catchy name for the new strip of shops.

Supporters should send their suggestions into the Club at media@southend-united.co.uk including their name, address and telephone number.

Suggestions should not necessarily be about football, but about the town of Southend as a whole.

The winning entrant, which will be selected by Chairman Ron Martin, will land themselves a £500 gift voucher for the Blues Club Shop.
