Leave Southend via the A127. At Rayleigh Weir junction continue forward through underpass. Continue forward onto Southend Arterial Road - A127 entering Basildon. Branch left (signposted Dartford Crossing, Stansted Airport), then at roundabout take the 3rd exit, then join the M25 motorway (signposted Stansted Airport). Continue forward onto the M25 (signposted Watford M1). Leave the M25 at junction 21, then join the M1 motorway (signposted M1 The North, Luton Airport). Take left-hand lanes, then join the M6 motorway (signposted M6 The North West, Coventry North, Birmingham). Keep in right-hand lanes at junction 3A, then join the M42 motorway (signposted The North West - M6 TOLL, Tamworth). Take right-hand lanes at junction 9 onto the M6 Toll (signposted The North West). Continue forward onto the toll-free motorway M6. Leave the M6 at junction 19 (signposted Manchester), then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Chester Road - A556 (signposted Manchester). Take right hand lanes to continue forward onto the M60 (signposted Ring Road South and East, Stockport). At M60 junction 24 keep forward (signposted Ring Road North and W). Leave the M60 at junction 22 (signposted Manchester City Centre, Oldham), then merge onto unnamed road (signposted Ring Road North and West, Oldham, Leeds, Bury, Bolton). At traffic signals turn right onto the A62 (signposted Oldham). Bear right onto Manchester Street - A62 entering Oldham. At Manchester Street Roundabout take the 1st exit, then keep right to merge onto Oldham Way - A627 (signposted Rochdale A627M). At Featherstall Road Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A627. Bear left onto Chadderton Way - A627 entering Chadderton. Turn right onto Westhulme Way (signposted Oldham Athletic F.C.) Ccontinue forward and then turn left onto Sheepfoot Lane.
