Southend United Community Trust will be running a Girls Only Soccer School at Blenheim Primary School during the summer holidays.
The Community Trust, who are one of only 30 football clubs in the country to be awarded The Football League Trust Silver Accreditation, will be running the Soccer Schools three days a week during both weeks of the July and August Half Term.
The Soccer Schools are open to girls of all abilities, aged from 6 to 14, and are a great way for children to develop new skills, make new friends and most importantly, to have fun!
The event ends with a presentation on the final day, with each child presented with a Southend United medal and the chance to meet first team players from the Southend squad, as well as club mascots Sammy and Elvis.
Each child taking part will also receive a voucher, which they can use at the Blues Box Office to exchange for a ticket to a League One match of their choice alongside a paying adult who will get a reduced rate.
Ten Pin Bowling atthe Kursaal in Southend have also teamed up with the Community Trust for the event and are offering free bowling for every child who signs up to the Soccer School, as long as they are accompanied by a full-paying adult.
Dates:
Week 1 - Monday 20th - Wednesday 22nd July
Week 2 - Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th August.
Each day costs only £8 and runs for five hours from 10am to 3pm.
