Southend United Community & Educational Trust are delighted to offer the opportunity to take the first step towards a qualification in football coaching.
The course is primarily aimed at youth team coaches and is for anyone aged 16 and above. The cost is £150, which includes all of their resources, coaching and assessments.
The course runs over two weekends at St Christopher's Cottage in Leigh. The dates for July are Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th and Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th.
Community Chief Executive Steve Goodsell said: "The courses have proved very popular in the past and have led to some people working for the Community Trust who have come through from doing a level one coaching course.
"We are always interested in people who might want to get involved.
"People will learn how to organise safe and enjoyable football sessions, how to coach individual team skills and if they are a coach of a football team, it will also help their club towards achieving FA Charter Standard status."
