Southend United will be hosting a Goalkeeping Trial Day at Boots and Laces Training ground in Southend on Saturday December 12th.

On the trial day Goalkeepers will train in different age groups and work on a number of different aspects of Goalkeeping.

Present on the trial day will be staff from our Goalkeeping Department and Southend United Centre of Excellence scouts.

The Goalkeeping Trial will be open to all Boys from under 7's to under 16's (2009/10 season).

Please confirm your attendance by Friday December 11th.

Please note: you will not receive conformation of your place on the Goalkeeping trial however, you will be informed by Friday December 11th if all trial places are filled.

The trial will take place on grass. You will need to arrive ready to train and please bring a drink with you on the day.

After the trial day Terry will write to all goalkeepers informing you of our decision.

Goalkeepers may be invited to train with our Centre Of Excellence for a further six week trial, be invited to train at our Goalkeeping Advanced Development Centre or invited to the next Goalkeeping trial we hold at our training ground.
