The Club is pleased to announce the prize schedule for the Blues Lottery in October.

Since the beginning of the Lottery the Club has given away some memorable prizes and experiences, with highlights including:

• A trip on the team coach to the 1-0 win against Colchester last season
• A trip for two to Spain to watch 'el classico - Real Madrid v Barcelona fixture'
• A trip for two to Marbella for a week
• £1000 cash giveaway
• Playing in a match with SUFC Legends
• Signed players shirts, including an exclusive poppy appeal version

With all proceeds going towards improving the Clubs flourishing youth set-up your money is guaranteed to be going towards a worthwhile cause for your Football Club.

What has the lottery money allowed the Youth Team to purchase?

The latest contribution from the Lottery has enabled the Club to purchase the one of the most 'hi-tec' breathing enhancement systems on the market, as well as nutritional aids for the Centre's catering area and individual lockers for every player.

Not only this, it has enabled us to update the training equipment we currently use to allow us to provide youngsters with the training facilities, programmes and development opportunities they could receive at a Premier League Club, increasing the chances of talented youngsters completing their training at Southend as apposed to other Clubs.

These items would not have been possible without the Lottery and the Club is in no doubt that the support of every single member of the Lottery is a key contributor to the rapid development the Youth Team has achieved over the last two seasons.

We want you to be a part of it!

The good thing about donating to the Youth Team lottery is that by helping us, you are also helping yourself.

The Lottery also gives you physical evidence of where your money is going as the achievements of the Youth Team over the last two years have secured national recognition of the set-up here at the Club. The obvious plan is for this to continue and this can only happen through people continually backing the Club through the Lottery.

So think of it this way, for the cost of a pint or glass of wine a week you can physically see your investment grow, back the development of the Club, and you might just win a prize worth more than your investment as a result!
