Southend United fans who have already taken advantage of our 'Blues Backing Britain' campaign could be in for a treat following Andy Murray's Queens Club win at the weekend.

Blues are backing the Scot to serve up another treat for tennis fans when Wimbledon gets underway in a weeks time and become the first British man to lift the trophy since Fred Perry did so in 1936.

If the world number three seed manages to do so, then all those supporters who have booked hospitality at Roots Hall for a Coca-Cola League One fixture this coming season will get their money back.

And Murray gave Blues fans hoping to cash in on the promotion a boost when he secured the Queens Club title on Sunday as he warms-up for Wimbledon.

The fixture list for the new football season came out today and Steve Tilson's side will kick things off against Huddersfield Town at Roots Hall on Saturday, August 8.

Blues are expecting high demand in their hospitality areas for matches next season, so why not secure your place now and at the same time have a chance to get your money back? It's a no lose situation.

To be in with a chance of getting involved in 'Murray Mania' you must have booked hospitality at Roots Hall before 12noon on Monday, June 22.

If Murray wins Wimbledon then Southend United will refund the cost of your package for any matches you have booked.

And with doubts currently hanging over the fitness of competitor Rafa Nadal then Murray could just spring a surprise.

Hospitality for fixtures at Roots Hall start from as little as £35 a head and further details can be obtained by calling the Commercial Department on 01702 304133.

Further Blues Back Britain initiatives will be announced throughout the season.
