You could dine with footballing legend Matt Le Tissier later next month at the Blues Sporting Dinner.

Southend United are holding the first of two Sporting Dinners this season hosted by Cliffs Pavilion.

Taking place on Wednesday, November 19 guests will enjoy a fantastic night including a three course dinner, competitions, auctions as well as hearing anecdotes from one of the countries most talented players.

Le Tissier is best known for his days as a Southampton player and currently works for Sky Sports Saturday results service, Soccer Saturday with statistical god Jeff Stelling.

The former Saints player enjoyed a colourful career including 8 international caps with England.

He's sure to have one or two excellent stories to tell having played with and against some the greatest players to grace the English game.

The evening will also be attended by members of the Blues first team squad and management and compered by comedian and Blues fanatic Terry Alderton.
