Southend United unveiled Seetec as the Official Training Wear Sponsor on Saturday at Blues’ Sky Bet League One clash against Scunthorpe United.
Essex-based employment and skills specialist Seetec’s logo will appear on all training wear for a minimum two years whilst also helping Blues recruit for their new Facilities Management Academy.
The Blues partnership with Seetec will give young people aged 16-18 years the opportunity to learn all about managing the 12,392-seater stadium and its corporate hospitality buildings.
Danny Macklin, Southend United Commercial Director “We are delighted to be working closely with Seetec – collectively we have two objectives, firstly to increase their exposure to a local and national audience.
“Furthermore, we are currently seeking applicants to join our first cohort of trainees for our Facilities Management Academy. This initial two year deal will see the Seetec logo appear on all of the Official Training Wear.”
Attending the game on Saturday, Robert White, Seetec Sales Director said, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Southend United on this unique Facilities Management Academy. There will be so many young people who want to know what goes on behind the scenes of a Football League One club, now they can whilst learning valuable transferrable skills. We are really excited about this new opportunity, we know the importance of giving young people the opportunity to learn new skills with great local employers like Southend United Football club to fulfil their true potential. ”
