Ryan Leonard says Blues need to put Saturday’s result behind them quickly and try to go on another run.
Sheffield United halted Blues’ progress, delivering a first handing Phil Brown’s side a first defeat in 14 games.
And the Blues midfielder said the important thing now is to bounce back against Rochdale on Saturday.
“We didn’t start the game right conceding after two minutes and if you give the league leaders a goal, it’s an uphill task from then.
“We’re very disappointed in the performance and the result.
“We got the goal back and for 15 or 20 minutes we were doing really well and were on the front foot.
“We started to play and create chances but then conceded another sloppy goal just before half time which took the wind out of us a little bit.”
Leonard added that it’s important for everyone to stay positive and not get too downbeat about the defeat.
“They’ve got a very good side with a lot of good players. They’re top of the table for a reason and are flying at the moment.
“It’s not the end of the world and we’ve got to build again and go on another run.
“We’ll start Saturday with Rochdale and build on the good things we did on Saturday and look to put the bad things right.”
