KICK-OFF: 3:00PM

SKY BET LEAGUE 2

PREVIEW

After three wins in a row, Blues were beaten 1-0 by AFC Wimbledon so will be hoping to return to winning ways against Rochdale. Dale haven’t scored in their previous three games, but occupy one of the automatic places heading into the final four games, and boast the best home record in the division.

THE VIEW:

Phil Brown said: “There’s a good pressure on both teams because we’re fighting at the right end of the table. I wouldn’t really even describe it as pressure – that’s when you’re down the bottom fighting relegation.

“But both teams will be desperate for the three points for different reasons, and hopefully we can bring our best game to the table both going forward and defensively.”

Keith Hill said: We’re playing an opposition in Southend who are in good form themselves. It’s a pressure game I suppose, or it’s perceived as a pressure game for both Southend and us, whereas last weekend Mansfield were playing with freedom for three points and seeing how far they’ve possibly come pitting their wits against the league leaders.”

THE FORM GUIDE:
